In the passed, wireless companies were fighting with the wireless network operators over the fact that they want to use their own services. Verizon decided to go the other way. On November 27, 2007 Verizon began allowing its customers to use a broader range of cell phones and features on its wireless network. The company feels that by allowoing this change, new services and products will be sparked.
